Are you looking for the closest thing to an in-studio Yoga Teacher Training experience but from the comfort of your own home? Do you want to take a Yoga Teacher Training but have an incredibly busy schedule? Do you want to deepen your yoga practice, get more techniques to enhance your self care and grow in a supportive environment with other like-minded people?

We have the solution. I have joined forces with Shannon at Mind & Body Complete to offer an amazing yoga teacher training program that you can complete from anywhere and anytime it works with your schedule.

Join our Combo Select Online 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training. We are so excited to bring you the flexibility of online learning with the option of finishing your journey with an in person 3 day retreat!

Our 200 hour program is registered with Yoga Alliance and is therefore a RYS – registered yoga school. Yoga Alliance has currently sanctioned 200 Hour Online Teacher Trainings through 2022. This 200 Hour Combo Select Virtual Yoga Teacher Training adheres to their standards and covers all of the topics put forth in a Yoga Alliance approved curriculum.

In our 200 hour program you’ll get a mix of pre-recorded video and live online learning via Zoom and our online learning platform. You will have the option to complete the course completely online (which means you can start anytime after our start date and finish whenever you want), or choose to do a combo select and finish your course at a 3 day retreat held at Retreat Ranch in Marble Falls Texas on the specific date outlined.

Frequently asked questions

How long will it take for me to complete this course?

Each person’s journey is different. We have students who can complete it in 6-8 weeks if they dedicate 3-4 hours a day, and we have some students who don’t have as much room in their schedule and it takes up to 6 months to complete. Remember, everyone is different though, so please take your time and truly absorb the information prior to moving onto the next section.

What is included in the program?

It depends on which option you choose, as some include an in person retreat. However all options include multiple methods of learning: pre-recorded content in the student portal (Podia), live lectures, community learning, and personal practice. The final practicum requires that students create, record and submit a minimum of (1) hour of you teaching, track and submit 12 hours of practice teaching, track and submit 48 hours of personal practice, as well as pass an open book multiple-choice exam with 80%. Our training has flexible learning so come and go as you please.

What if I need help?

We are here for you! Just contact us via email at yttsupport@mindbodycomplete.com

How do I get started?

Once you sign up for the choice you would like, you will get an email from Podia with your log in information. Materials won’t be accessible until August 6th (if it is before then, it is a good time to prepare for your learning journey). August 6th and after; log in and start at the introduction. If you have trouble or questions, contact us at yttsupport@mindbodycomplete.com. In between the modules available in Podia, you can start to incorporate your personal practice requirements and teaching requirements. You do not need to complete the Podia content first to start. You can alternate, as long as you complete the appropriate hours for all three.

When do I have to complete by?

How long it takes you to complete could take one month or one year, that is up to you. However, if you want to register with Yoga Alliance, all coursework must be completed by 2022. Yoga Alliance is an independent organization that has standardized yoga teacher training. It is not required to be registered with Yoga Alliance in order to teach yoga, but there are benefits, of which you can read about on their website.

Do I have to submit a certain style of Yoga for my 200 hour practicum?

Yes, you must submit Vinyasa or Hatha.

If I signed up for one of the retreat options, do I still have to also record and upload a teaching video?

Nope! You will do your teaching at the retreat. You will also complete a minimum of 8 hours of personal practice at the retreat as well.

When do I get my certificate?

Once you have completed all requirements listed below for verification, and have a zero balance a certificate will be issued. This process can take up to two weeks. Please note, if a balance is owed at the time you complete training, your certificate will reflect the date of completion, but you will not receive it until your tuition has been paid in full. Remember, you have access on Podia for life so come back as you wish. List of requirements for certificate of completion:

  • Completed all modules in the Podia online learning platform
  • Submitted your personal practice tracking log
  • Submitted your teaching tracking log
  • Submitted your one hour recorded practicum video
  • Pass the open book exam with 80% (btw we can reset the exam for you if you do not get 80%)

What options do I have to send in my video submission?

We do not accept ‘Download Only’ files. Please make sure that your file can be viewed online, such as through Google Drive, Dropbox, YouTube (Unlisted) or any comparable platform of your choice.

What platform will the live lectures be on?

We will be using zoom. It is a free and easy to use platform.

If I can’t attend any live lectures will I still be able to participate?

Yes! Live lectures are optional. Everything will be recorded and stored on the Podia platform so that you can watch it at your pace.
